A new commission offering inspired by Beth’s love of painting florals. Expect a painting capturing the colour and essence of your bridal bouquet with touches of all important gold. About the process
Size
Firstly you will need to decide the size of your custom painting. I would encourage you to consider the space where you would like to display the work and what size would suit that space.
I am currently accepting commissions for sizes 10x10” and above. If you are unsure about the size you would like, I would be more than happy to help.
Inspiration
In order to create a painting inspired by your wedding bouquet I will need between 1-3 good quality photographs to work from.
Additionally, it can help me to see a photograph of the space you are hoping to hang the work in. Plus any other inspiration you have, this could be a Pinterest board or a favourite creature you would like me to work into the painting (bumble bee anyone?!). Or you might wish to add a flower or colour to the bouquet that wasn't present in the original arrangement - this is the beauty of a custom painting!
You might also like to consider what background colour you would like for the painting, as this can really help tie the painting in with your interior space. My go-to background colour is black, but I am open to any colour you might want for your painting.
Initial Sketch
I will begin by creating a few painted sketches of your bouquet, which will help us decide on a composition for the painting and key decisions such a background colour. Once you have approved the sketch you would like me to base the painting on, I will then get started on the final piece. It can take between 6-12 weeks for me to complete your painting depending on size (longer during the Christmas period). If there is a particular date/occasion you would like the painting for, please specify this on the form below and we can discuss if this is something I can accommodate in my schedule.
Price
Bridal bouquet commissions start at £250 and are approximately 15% more than work I create for the collections I release throughout the year. This is due to the additional time it takes to put together a custom piece that fulfils all your needs.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and the remaining balance, plus any shipping costs, is due once you have approved the completed work.
