Below you will find everything you need to know about commissioning a custom pet portrait.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot and then the remaining 50% is due on completion of your commissioned artwork. Postage will be added to the final cost of your portrait. If you are local, collection is free.
There is no extra charge for portraits of multiple subjects (these are only available in certain sizes - please get in touch for more info).
Commissions can be taken for any animals, wild or domestic.
Pastel Portraits
7 x 9” - £175 (framed £215)
8 x 10" - £200 (framed £250)
10 x 12" - £265 (framed £325)
11 x 14” - £325 (framed £395)
Pastel portraits will need to be framed behind glass for protection and shouldn’t be left long without, as they can smudge if left unframed.
REFERENCE PHOTOS
A minimum of three reference photos are needed
Photos will ideally be taken outside in natural light (not direct sunlight) and where possible taken from the same level as the subject
Photos taken on a smart phone are suitable as long as the lighting is good - high resolution photos are a bonus!
We understand it is not always possible to provide three reference photos of an animal, for example if a cherished pet has passed away. If this is the case, please do get in touch with the photos that you have and we can discuss the options.
